Two of our strategic priorities here at Utah’s Hogle Zoo is to be the wildlife conservation leader in Utah and to be a destination with purpose.
Every ticket and membership to Utah’s Hogle Zoo supports our conservation initiatives in Utah and around the globe through our conservation partners. These include (but are not limited to) constructing ranger stations in Uganda, outfitting orangutan research teams in Borneo, and securing critical boreal toad habitats here in Utah.
With the help of professional researchers and members of the community, our conservation team conducts several local projects and volunteer opportunities that help our local Utah communities.
In 2023, Hogle Zoo received the Utah Business Green Award for water-saving, recycling, and sustainable practices. We’re committed to minimizing our carbon footprint by making our operations eco-friendly.
