Zoo Brew

Please note:  

• Zoo Brews are 21+ events. A valid state-issued photo ID or passport is required to enter the event. Guests will be turned away without an ID.  
• Drink ticket sales are from 6:30-8:45 pm.
• Train and Carousel lines close at 8:45 pm.
• Last call for drinks is at 9:10 pm.
• No alcohol is served after 9:15pm.
• Drink tickets are $8/ticket. 1 ticket=1 drink.
• Only 4 drink tickets per person, per transaction.
• Cash and card accepted. 
• Some animals and areas may not be viewable during Zoo Brew.  
• Utah’s Hogle Zoo wants you to have fun like responsible party animals. We encourage all guests to be prepared with ride share or designated driver. 

 Zoo Brew Pro Tips

• Buy your Zoo Brew ticket as soon as possible – Zoo Brews typically sell out!  
• To make entry faster, have your photo ID, Zoo Brew ticket, and bag ready for bag check.   
• There are several drink ticket sellers and bars throughout the zoo. If one seller or bar has a long line, visit another area, like Oasis Plaza or Rocky Shores. A card is preferred for drink ticket purchases.  
• Drink tickets are only available for the night you purchase them and DO NOT roll over to another Zoo Brew event. 
• Respect the animals at the zoo. You are coming to visit them in their home. 
• Zoo Brews happen rain or shine 

What is Zoo Brew?  

Zoo Brews are adults-only (21+) themed events occurring on select Wednesdays in the summertime after the zoo closes to the public. A portion of all proceeds benefit our wildlife conservation partners.    

When can I buy individual Zoo Brew tickets?  

Zoo Brew tickets are on sale now and will remain available until they sell out or until the event happens.  

If I’m a member, can I buy a Zoo Brew ticket for a friend?  

Yes, Zoo Brews are more fun with friends. Zoo members can use their membership discount to buy tickets for their friends. 

How will I receive my online Zoo Brew ticket?  

Tickets will be sent to the email provided at checkout. The PDF can be scanned or added to your Apple Wallet.  

Are Zoo Brew tickets or drink tickets refundable?  

Zoo Brew tickets are non-refundable. Drink tickets are only available for the night you purchase them and DO NOT roll over to another Zoo Brew event. 

What does each entry to Zoo Brew include?  

Your Zoo Brew entry gives you access to the zoo after-hours during the specific Zoo Brew event. Some animals have a strict bedtime, so some animals and areas might be closed.  

What can I expect at Zoo Brew?  

Zoo Brew is an adult-only, after-hours fun environment. It's your chance to see the zoo in a completely different way. The best way to experience Zoo Brew is to: dress up according to the theme, purchase brew-exclusive food and beverages, participate in an animal encounter, buy brew-exclusive art made by Utah’s Hogle Zoo animals, and learn how to support the zoo’s conservation initiatives. 

Does Zoo Brew happen rain or shine?  

Yes! Please wear appropriate outerwear if there is rain in the forecast.
