Thanks to a generous donation by the George S. and Delores Doré Eccles Foundation, the train has a new name: The Eccles Express. This beloved attraction will be reopening with an all-new train route and electric locomotive alongside the zoo’s new exhibit, Wild Utah. Once open, zoo goers will get a spectacular view of the amazing animal residents of the African Savanna and Wild Utah exhibits.
The train cannot operate when there is water, snow, or ice on the tracks.
